Casey Voegeli

CASEY VOEGELI: An entrepreneur from Wichita, KS with extensive manufacturing and real estate experience. Casey studied business administration at the University of Kansas and Wichita State University before joining his family business, Exacta Aerospace Inc., in 1997. Exacta manufactures aerospace structures and assemblies for commercial, business and military aviation. After joining the company in 1997, Casey helped grow the business into one of the largest privately held aerostructure manufacturers in Wichita before selling to a Fortune 500 industry leader in 2013. Following the sale of Exacta, the Voegeli’s founded Birds Eye Holdings, LLC. Birds Eye’s current portfolio includes over 750,000 s.f. of direct real estate and over 50 syndicated commercial real estate investments throughout the U.S as well as two operating companies, Cocoa Dolce LLC., an artesian chocolate company purchased in 2015 and MAX Aerostructures, founded in 2016, which manufactures aerospace structures and assemblies.

John Shawver

JOHN C. SHAWVER: Mr. Shawver is the President of Stelbar Oil Corporation. He has held various positions in the company throughout this 30 plus year career including Landman, Exploration Manager, Executive Vice President and President. He served on the boards of Full Service Beverage Company and All-American Bottling Company both of which were large independent soft drink bottling companies. He served as a director of the East Texas Reef Fund and a manager of the Alaska Venture Capital Group. ETRF and AVCG were both oil and gas exploration companies. He was a partner in a multi-unit Marriott Hotel franchise operation. He is a partner in AdvantEdge Quality Cars, a subprime automobile finance business. Mr. Shawver is a trustee of the KU Endowment and serves on the Investment Committee.

Basil Hourani

BASIL HOURANI is co-founder and Executive Partner of CAPITAL7 and is currently managing an active portfolio of investments including operations in Specialty Hospital, Hotel, Casino, Technology and Real Estate. Basil’s prior experience includes 25+ years in the healthcare software and services industry. Basil served as President and CEO of Pulse Systems, Inc., a national provider of healthcare information technology he co-founded.  Pulse developed Electronic Medical Records, Medical Practice Management and Revenue Cycle Management software solutions, and was later merged with Cegedim SA (CGM: Euronext Paris) – a global health technology company based in Paris, France.  Prior to Pulse, he served as the President and CEO of MEDCAT, a healthcare software solutions company he co-founded that was focused on developing and servicing Medical Practice Management software and medical transaction services.  He serves on several boards of directors of for-profit and non-profit organizations.
